Guests can use the computers for one day after showing an out-of-town id. We also offer Wireless Internet for all patrons.

Free Internet Connection

The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library offers Internet access and public use computers to patrons at no charge. Patrons must have their library card and be free of fines to use the library computers. Guests can use the computers for one day after showing an out-of-town id. We also offer Wireless Internet for all patrons.
Word Processing

There are currently 48 public computers available to patrons that each have Microsoft Word for word processing. These are available to patrons at no charge. The cost of printing is $.15* per page for black and white and $1.00* a page for color.
Interlibrary Loan

Through our interlibrary loan program, library patrons not only have access to the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library collection, they can access the resources of libraries across the country. Item available through interlibrary loan include not only books but also articles from magazines, journals, and newspapers.

Books may be borrowed at no cost; copies of magazine or newspaper articles may have a nominal charge, usually no more than $1.00* per page. It can take several weeks for an interlibrary loan to arrive. Please allow at least one month for your request to be processed before the item is needed.

To receive materials through interlibrary loan, simply come to the Circulation Desk on the first floor and complete an interlibrary loan request form or fill out the online form below. If you are uncertain of the title of the desired book, ask a staff member for assistance.

Fax Transmission and Receipt
You may send a fax for only $1.00* per page and receive a fax for only $.50* per page. Our fax number is 931-648-8831.
Tennessee Library Card Program

This service allows library patrons in good standing to check out materials from any participating library in Tennessee - without paying a fee. It's great for those who travel frequently or whose community library carries a limited number of materials. A list of participating libraries is available at the Circulation Desk on the first floor.
Photocopies

For your convenience, photocopy machines are located on each floor. Cost of photocopies is $.15* per page. If you need assistance with the copy machines, please don't hesitate to ask a staff member.
R.E.A.D.S.

With R.E.A.D.S. (Regional Ebook and Audiobook Download System), you can access thousands of best-selling and classic ebooks and audiobooks that are now compatible with the iPod®, iPhone™, iPod touch®, Kindle, Nook, Android devices, iPod nano®, as well as the Zune® and thousands of other MP3 players and e-readers. Log in by clicking "Account" in the upper righthand corner of the page.

Services for Patrons with Special Needs
As a special service to library patrons who may suffer from visual impairment, hearing impairment, or dyslexia, the library offers information on state and federal reading assistance programs. For more information about these services, ask any of our Reference Information personnel.

The library is equipped with an image enlarger for the visually impaired, which allows the patron to see books, newspapers, magazines, or any other reading material in a larger format. We also feature a Video Phone for hearing impaired patrons. A sign language specialist will appear on the TV screen to assist the patron in finding anything they need in the library.

The Tennessee Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped is a free library program of braille, recorded and large print materials available to residents of Tennessee who are not able to use standard print materials due to a visual or physical disability. The Tennessee Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (TLBPH) cooperates with the National Library Service: Library of Congress (NLS) to administer this free library service.
