Upper Pigeon Whitewater Adventure
Fully-guided 6 mile stretch of whitewater bordering Smoky Mountain National Forrest. Class III and IV rapids, beautiful mountain surroundings, and family fun. For ages 8 and above. No experience necessary.
Lower Pigeon Scenic Family Float
Leisurely, relaxing, and scenic. The Lower Section consists of fully-guided class I and II whitewater. Expect plenty of time for swimming and splashing.
Adventure Packages
Combine the Upper and Lower Sections for a full-day adventure, or package your Upper Section trip with a night of riverside camping, or even a zipline adventure.

We took the Big Creek Expeditions day trip with "Crock" our guide who was amazing. They provided great instruction, a whole lot of fun, tons of laughs and lunch. The price was honestly cheap for all that they provided and the great time we had. Big Creek Expeditions is perfect for the whole family because they treat you like family. They are a smaller operation so you get personal attention. I can't say enough good things about these folks. We will be back again and this time with friends.
